Job Duties and Responsibilities:




Maintain a high level of professional skill set in area of responsibility and have an understanding of more than one functional category. Continue to develop expertise in several anchor skills in order to serve as consultant to others within the group or division. Act as Principal/Project Leader and gain industry recognition for ability through publications or professional qualifications, e.g. SPE papers and Chartered Engineering/Geologist status. Demonstrate the ability to solve problems without previously established company procedures; additionally design procedures which others may utilize. Solid understanding of Production Technology and can create plans, which are optimized to the needs of the client. Manage plans to cover technical, operational and financial elements with assessments of associated risks on behalf of the Client if required. Broaden Production Technology and Management Skills through working on new areas and development types. Develop sound business judgment in several areas, such as the use of technology, economic evaluations, strategic thinking and contractual work. Optimize the use of all available resources, including company as well as outside experts, to meet the company's objectives. Manage multi-discipline projects for the Company with minor assistance from Directors and/or more senior members of staff. Understand the mission and capabilities of the Company and may periodically act independently on behalf of the Company, e.g. in business development. Develop an extensive industry network from which new business for the Company is realized. May act as a Client Manager on behalf of the Company. Serve as an advisor to the staff and management on Production Technology matters. Directs mentoring and training activities. Provides work direction and mentoring for less experienced staff members. Provides formal and informal training internally and externally.




Skill Requirements:




Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical competence in upper and lower completion design. Understanding of more than one functional or area category. Able to demonstrate industry recognition for technical abilities. Track record of innovation & ingenuity in solving difficult problems. Must be able to direct, mentor and support younger professionals. Strong, broad ranging discipline knowledge. May lead cross-discipline projects and communicate effectively across all disciplines. Carry out projects related to asset management, field development planning, well modeling, completion/sand control design, sand management, artificial lift studies, flow assurance, production chemistry, reservoir engineering and well test analysis. Excellent communication skills. Broad technical skills in Completions Engineering. Advanced written and verbal skills. Advanced problem solving and project management skills. Good organizing, planning, and presentation skills. Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and client focused with a drive for results. Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.




Education and Experience:



Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering with 12+ years experience or Master's Degree with 10+ years experience or PhD with 8+ year’s experience.
